• Storing Cheese

Store your opened chunks of cheese in aluminum foil. It will stay fresh much longer and not mold!

• Cooking Ground Beef

Add a teaspoon of water when frying ground beef. It will help pull the grease away from the meat while cooking.

• Bananas

Take your bananas apart when you get home from the store. If you leave them connected at the stem, they ripen faster.

• Marinating Meats, Chicken, or seafood

When freezing meats, chicken or seafood, always add the marinade before freezing. Place the items in a freezer bag, add any type of marinade you wish, close the bag and place it in the freezer. When you want to use the marinated item, thaw it in the refrigerator. Once the item is thawed the marinade is already in the meat and you are all set to cook or grill. This way the entire item is marinated all the way through not just on the top.
